NFL to announce schedule Thursday night

While the uncertainty surrounding sports remains, the league announced on Monday that the official schedule for the 2020 NFL season will be announced Thursday night on NFL Network at 8 p.m. For Patriots fans, check with at 7:30 p.m. to find the New England's slate before checking out the NFL's three-hour event at 8.

As for the Patriots 2020 opponents, they will face the following teams on the road: Chargers, Chiefs, Rams, Seahawks, Texans, Bills, Dolphins and Jets. They will also host the 49ers, Cardinals, Broncos, Raiders, Ravens, Bills, Dolphins and Jets. This will be the final year of the 16-game schedule before the new CBA rules for 17 games kicks in starting in 2021.

It will be interesting to see if the league doubles up any of the Patriots trips out west. With games in Los Angeles (2), and Seattle, it would be possible for the team to remain away from Foxborough if two of those contests were scheduled back to back.

While we've known the opponents for quite some time, we will find out the dates and times Thursday night.
