FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that CB Miles Battle and RB Terrell Jennings have been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.
Battle, 25, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 5, 2024, out of Utah. The 6-foot-3, 197-pounder, was released by Kansas after training camp and was signed by New England to the practice squad on Oct. 15, 2024. He was signed by New England to the 53-man roster from the practice squad on Jan. 4, 2025, and played in his first NFL game in the season-finale vs. Buffalo (1/5), finishing with 2 tackles and 3 passes defensed. Battle was released by New England at the end of training camp this past summer and was then signed to the practice squad.
Jennings, 24, is being elevated to the active roster for the second straight week. The 6-foot, 217-pounder, was originally signed by New England as a rookie free agent from Florida A&M on May 13, 2024, and began the year on the practice squad. He was elevated for the game vs. Houston on Oct. 13, 2024, and then was signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad on Dec. 21, 2024. He has played in four games and has 13 carries for 33 yards. Jennings was signed to the practice squad after being released at the end of training camp this past summer.
