The Fourth of July: Patriots Style

Check out how the Patriots spent the holiday weekend.

With a name like the Patriots, it is a given that the Fourth of July is done right by those on the team, and if social media is any indication, it seems like the guys lived up to their name.

The long holiday weekend meant there was plenty of time for the players to rest, relax and enjoy fun in the sun. There were traditional Fourth of July activities and then there were events that went beyond the typical family barbecue. No matter how your Patriots celebrated this weekend, it seems they all were having a blast.

When it comes to Independence Day celebrations, barbecues, yard games, time on the water and baseball are all staples in their own right. Gronk showed off his undefeated record in cornhole, and Mike Gillislee proved to be an effective grill master. Cameron Fleming hit the water in a boat, and Geneo Grissom caught his first baseball game in St. Louis as the Cardinals hosted the Marlins.

For Chris Hogan and Matt Lengel, the holiday wasn't the only thing being celebrated. Chris and his wife Ashley tied the knot this weekend, and the newborn Hogan twins even dressed to the nines for the occasion. Meanwhile, Matt and his wife Lauren set off on their honeymoon after they got married last week in Kentucky.

Tom Brady unwound with a round of golf in Montana, where he was joined by Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola. Of course, the trio got some training in, but the guys also rode around on ATVs and took in the beautiful scenery.

Rob Ninkovich may not have been riding ATVs in Montana, but he was watching one of the best motocross riders do his thing. He even got to snag a picture with Ryan Dungey himself.

While the Fourth of July may be over, the Patriots offseason is in full swing. Keep up with how they spend their down time with Social Scene, a monthly round up of the Patriots best photos.
