The New England Patriots extended their road win streak to 12 straight wins dating back to last season with a 41-16 victory at the Denver Broncos. The 12-game road streak matches the team mark of 12-straight road wins from Dec. 24, 2006 through Oct. 5, 2008. The two 12-game streaks are second in NFL history to the 18-game road win streak by San Francisco (1988-90).
Following the game, the Patriots traveled to Colorado Springs to spend the week practicing at the Air Force Academy prior to their game against the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City.
INTERNATIONAL SERIES HISTORY
The Patriots-Raiders game will be the 30th regular season game played outside of the U.S. The first regular season game played outside of the U.S. was in Mexico City in 2005 when the Cardinals hosted the 49ers.
This week's game will be the third regular season game played in Mexico City. In addition, the 49ers-Cardinals game in 2005, the Raiders hosted Houston in Mexico City last season.
The Patriots will play an international game for the third time after playing in London in 2009 and 2012 at Wembley Stadium. The Patriots beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-7 at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 25, 2009 and then beat the St. Louis Rams, 45-7, on Oct. 28, 2012.

- The Patriots defeated Dallas, 21-3, in Mexico City in 1998
SERIES HISTORY
The Patriots and Raiders will meet for the 35th time overall and for the 32nd time in regular-season play this Sunday when the Patriots meet the Raiders in Mexico City.
This week's game will mark the third international regular season game for the Patriots after playing in 2009 and 2012 in London. In 2009, the Patriots beat Tampa Bay, 35-7 in London and in 2012 the Patriots beat the Rams 45-7 in London.
The Patriots and Raiders last played against each other on Sept. 21, 2014 in a 16-9 New England victory at Gillette Stadium.
The teams have met three times in the playoffs, producing memorable, classic encounters on each occasion. In 1976 the Patriots beat the Raiders 48-17 in the regular season before losing a playoff game at Oakland, 24-21. The Patriots advanced to their first AFC Championship game in 1985 after beating the Raiders, 27-20, in Los Angeles. Then in the first Super Bowl championship year in 2001, the Patriots beat Oakland, 16-13, in overtime in the last game ever played in Foxboro Stadium.
The Patriots lead the all-time series with a 18-15-1 advantage, including a 2-1 postseason record.
The Raiders have had the edge in home games against the Patriots as they own a 10-7 record when the two teams square off on the west coast. The series between the two charter members of the American Football League dates back to 1960, the inaugural season for each club.
Although the teams played frequently prior to the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, they have met just four times in the regular-season since 1989.
