FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have re-signed G Jack Conley to the practice squad and released G Mehki Butler from the practice squad.
Conley, 24, was signed by New England as a rookie free agent out of Boston College on May 9, 2025. The 6-foot-7, 333-pounder, was released by New England on Aug. 26, signed to the practice squad on Aug. 27 and then released from the practice squad on Aug. 28. He played at right guard, left guard, right tackle and as a tackle-eligible tight end during his college career.
Butler, 24, was signed by New England as a rookie free agent out of Arkansas State on May 12, 2025. The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder, was released by New England on Aug. 26 and then signed to the practice squad on Aug. 27. Butler earned NJCCA first-team All-America recognition at Iowa Western Community College in 2020 before transferring to Arkansas State. He started 38 games at left guard for Arkansas State.
