John "Stretch" Streicher joined the Patriots in 2025 as vice president of football operations and strategy. Streicher came to the Patriots after spending a year working under Sean McVay at the Los Angeles Rams as the game management coordinator. Streicher was apart of a Rams team that upset the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs.

Prior to his year at the Rams, Streicher spent six seasons at the Tennessee Titans in various roles on Mike Vrabel's staff from 2018-23. He began in Tennessee as special assistant to the head coach. Streicher was then promoted to coordinator of football development before becoming the Titans Director of Football Administration in 2023.

Working closely with Vrabel, Streicher helped the Titans finish with four winning seasons and three postseason appearances. In 2021, Streicher was a part of a coaching staff that earned its third consecutive playoff appearance, where the Titans won their second straight AFC South title, claiming the AFC's top overall seed with a 12-5 record. Tennessee preceded their 12-5 record with an 11-5 record and the team's first division title since 2008 with Streicher on staff.

Prior to his time with the Titans, Streicher spent two years as director of football operations (2016-17) at Texas State, where he oversaw recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the team. From 2014-15, Streicher held roles such as special assistant to the head coach and director of football operations at James Madison.

Streicher started his career working for the Ohio State football team while as a student, spending six total seasons at his alma mater. He spent four seasons as an equipment manager and later worked as a student assistant coach on the defensive staff while completing a master's degree.

PERSONAL

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Streicher graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelors degree in 2012 and continued his education gaining a master's degree in 2014 in organizational leadership.
