Patriots Sign Three of Their Eight 2024 Draft Picks and Sign Nine Rookie Free Agents

The New England Patriots announced today the signing of three of their eight 2024 draft selections and nine rookie free agents.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today the signing of three of their eight 2024 draft selections and nine rookie free agents.

The Patriots signed sixth-round draft picks CB Marcellas Dial, QB Joe Milton III and seventh-round draft pick TE Jaheim Bell (pronounced – juh-HEEM).

In addition, the Patriots announced the signing of nine rookie free agents: RB DeShaun Fenwick, CB Kaleb Ford-Demont, T Zuri Henry, LB Jontrey Hunter, DE John Morgan, S Dell Pettus, C Charles Turner, CB Mikey Victor and TE Jacob Warren.

2024 DRAFT PICK SIGNINGS

Dial, 24, was selected by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft with the 180th overall pick out of South Carolina. The 6-foot, 190-pounder, began his college career at Georgia Military College, before playing three seasons at South Carolina. In 36 games at South Carolina, Dial registered 114 total tackles and three interceptions.

Milton, 24, was selected by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft with the 193rd overall pick out of Tennessee. The 6-foot-5, 246-pounder, spent his first three collegiate seasons at Michigan before transferring to Tennessee for his final three seasons. Milton started all 12 games last season and completed 229-of-354 passes for 2,813 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Bell, 22, was selected by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft with the 231st overall pick out of Florida State. The 6-foot-2, 241-pounder, spent his first three collegiate seasons at South Carolina, before transferring to Florida State for the 2023 season. Last season, Bell appeared in 13 games with nine starts and finished with 39 receptions for 503 yards and two touchdowns.

2024 ROOKIE FREE AGENTS

Fenwick, 24, played his first three seasons at South Carolina, before transferring to Oregon State for his next three seasons. The 6-foot-1, 223-pounder, played in 50 collegiate games and had 385 rushing attempts for 2,118 yards and 18 touchdowns and caught 31 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Last season, he played in 13 games and totaled 515 rushing yards on 96 carries.

Ford-Dement, 24, spent time at Kilgore College (2017-18), Old Dominion (2019-20) and Washington State (2021-22) before finishing his college career at Texas State in 2023. The 5-foot-11, 178-pounder, played in 13 games with 11 starts last season and finished with 32 total tackles, three interceptions and seven passes defensed.

Henry, 24, spent six seasons at UTEP, seeing action at both left tackle and right tackle and started in 36 of 53 games. The 6-foot-6, 310-pounder, started in 11 games last season.

Hunter, 23, spent six seasons at Georgia State. The 6-foot-2, 234-pounder, earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2023 after finishing with 96 total tackles. Overall, he played in 53 games and finished with 234 total tackles and six sacks.

Morgan, 23, played his first five seasons at Pittsburgh (2018-22) before transferring to Arkansas for the 2023 season. The 6-foot-1, 252-pounder, played in 64 total games with eight starts and finished with 89 total tackles and 16 sacks. Last season at Arkansas, Morgan played in 11 games and finished with 15 total tackles.

Pettus, 22, spent five seasons at Troy (2019-23) and finished his career with 61 consecutive starts at safety. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder, played in a total of 62 games during his college career and finished with 310 total tackles. Last season, he finished with 74 total tackles in 14 games.

Turner, 22, began his career as a tackle before moving to center where he started for the last two seasons. The 6-foot-4, 303-pounder, appeared in 40 career games with 26 starts, 25 at center and 1 at right tackle in 2021.

Victor, 24, began his college career at Ventura Colle and UNLV before playing the last two seasons at Alabama State. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder, finished with 55 total tackles, three interceptions and 21 passes defensed for Alabama State.

Warren, 23, spent six seasons at Tennessee (2018-23) and was a starter for the three seasons. The 6-foot-6, 251-pounder, played in 54 games with 33 starts overall and finished with 53 receptions for 607 yards and eight touchdowns. Last season, he played and started in all 13 games and finished with 16 receptions for 191 yards and four touchdowns.
