Get to know Sweet Feet.

Football is back, and before the Patriots defeated the Steelers 33-3 on Sunday Night Football, James White stopped by the newest Patriots podcast, Patriots Off Topic, to chat about his offseason, being a soon-to-be father and more.

Here's what we learned from James's interview.

*He and his are taking baby name suggestions. *James took to Instagram when they found out their baby is going to be a boy, and fans chimed in with their name suggestions. Some, he said, were great, and others might take some convincing.

"There's a lot of Toms, a lot of Gronks, a lot of Julians and Bills," James said. "I can't name him after any of my teammates, but there are some good suggestions on there."

*Sweet Feet Fridays are open to all. *James started taking submissions for Sweet Feet Fridays this offseason, where fans can send pictures of their kicks and he'll share the love and repost them. He said it doesn't matter what state your shoes are in, if they're sneakers, heels, sandals or anything in between. They all count.

Tweet at him and use #SweetFeetFriday for a chance to him repost your shoes.

*Sweet Feet for Strikes is rapidly approaching. *The annual bowling fundraiser for Boston Medical Center will be on Sept. 16, and James said it's always great to support a cause and that his teammates come out in droves to help raise money.

As professional athletes, it's no surprise that even a charity bowling tournament gets competitive. James said the best bowlers on the team are Stephen Gostkowski and Dont'a Hightower, who allegedly has a "bowling alley in house in Tennessee or something."

As for James: "I've actually been slacking lately. The last few times I've been to the bowling alley I've been pretty trash, so I got to get my game together."

*What he would tell Young James. *"I think a lot of kids that age, they want to have their own cliques and friends, but I think it's important to talk to everybody in the school. Get to know your teachers. Study as hard as possible. Just get those good grades because that's when those habits really started, at that age. You'll just carry those habits on for the rest of your life."

Patriots Off Topic drops every Friday, and you can find it on iTunes, Spotify, Patriots.com, GooglePlay and Stitcher. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss a thing, and let us know what you think with a review.
