Danny Amendola is hitting the newsstands again. As the cover man for the October issue of “Men’s Health,” Danny shared his tips for staying in shape and getting his muscles ready for game day. Now gracing the cover of the fall issue of Scene Magazine, a Boston-based publication, he opens up about his love for New England and his Catches for Kids Foundation.
"Boston is an unbelievable city, and for any athlete looking to become involved in the community, this is the perfect place," Danny told writer Peter F. Stevens.
Danny also told the magazine how his parents helped to shape his decision to start Catches for Kids and what motivates him to do the work that will help the lives of many. Catches for Kids was established in 2010, and Danny uses his platform with the Patriots to help low-income students and families in New England by providing "support, opportunities, resources and life-changing experiences," according to the foundation's website.
You won't want to miss seeing Danny's philanthropic side in Scene. The magazine hits stands this week in Boston.
With Danny, Gronk and Jamie Collins all snagging magazine covers, Patriots Nation has had a lot to read about this season.
