During Sunday's game against the Dolphins, the Patriots Charitable Foundation will team up with Fidelity Investments to raise valuable funding for local Pop Warner football and cheerleading programs. Fidelity will offer commemorative Patriots–Pop Warner pins for a recommended donation of $5 at seven locations throughout the stadium. Proceeds will be used to support New England Pop Warner programs.
The pin sale is part of a season-long alliance to provide support to Pop Warner Football teams across New England. The program, a part of the Fidelity Investments "Inspire the Future" campaign, was kicked off on August 1, 2006 with a donation of more than 400 football helmets and additional pieces of equipment to four start-up Pop Warner programs in the communities of Brockton, Blackstone Valley, Roxbury and Providence, RI.
These two-sided pins will be on sale at seven locations throughout the stadium on October 8, 2006.
Proceeds will benefit *Pop Warner football and cheerleading teams throughout New England.*
