The Kraft family and Patriots Foundation have teamed up to bring fans, families, and four-legged friends together for the Pawtriots Dog Adoption and Draft Watch Party – the latest event supporting the team's initiative to promote and encourage dog adoption.
On Sat., April 25, fans are invited to the Sports Illustrated Pavillion at Gillette Stadium for the chance to watch the Patriots draft their newest players and potentially add to their own team.
Partnering with local animal shelters, attendees will have the chance to meet adoptable dogs, and if the scouting report and fit feels right, give them their forever homes.
From 12 to 3 p.m. ET, as Day 3 of the NFL Draft commences, the event will feature special appearances by Patriots alumni and cheerleaders, plenty of photo ops, and family friendly games and activities.
Fans can purchase food and beverages, take home giveaways and raffles, and shop the special Pawtriots merchandise collection while watching the draft unfold on the big screens.
But even those not in position to take home a new pet can still offer their support. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of pet food, toys, collars, and leashes to benefit the local shelters participating in the event.
