Stop us if you've heard this one before. Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and three Tom Brady's go on a road trip.
Alright, so it's kind of true.
The Red Sox headed on a road trip for series in Tampa Bay, Baltimore and Cincinnati, and to spice up the long stint away from Boston, the team made it a themed trip. The Sox ditched their own uniforms for other teams' and players' jerseys, and as it turns out, the Patriots were a popular choice.
Earlier this month, the Cubs did something similar, and there were Patriots sightings in Chicago. With that in mind, it's no surprise the Red Sox represented the home NFL team.
Mookie Betts, Christian Vazquez and Deven Marrero all got their GOAT on, proudly rocking Tom Brady jerseys. Drew Pomeranz added some variety with a Gronk jersey, and Brock Holt showed respect for Julian Edelman.
Boston sports teams are always supporting one another, and according to a couple of Instagram posts, the Red Sox came out in big numbers to the Patriots home opener last week.
Needless to say, Boston sports fans will love this crossover.
