• Started on the defensive line for New England vs. Philadelphia. Recorded 4 tackles ( 2 solo, 2 assists), while also contributing to special teams.  
• Started on the defensive line for vs. Miami (9/17), recorded 3 tackles (3 assists).
• Recorded 2 tackles at the New York Jets and was a part of a defensive unit that held the jets to 38 rushing yards. 
• Started on the defensive line at Dallas (10/1). Recorded a sack for a loss of 9 yards in the third quarter.

• Played in 17 games with 16 starts and recorded a career-high 59 total tackles (33 solo, 26 assist), a career-high 7½ sacks for 46.5 yards, two forced fumbles and three passes defensed.

• Played as a reserve in season opening win vs. Miami (9/13) and made one tackle.
• Picked up one assisted tackle as a reserve in the loss at Seattle (9/20).
• Helped force a fumble on a sack of Raiders QB Derek Carr with Shilique Calhoun in the end zone, recovered the fumble in the end zone for his first career touchdown. Added 5 tackles (3 solo, 2 ast) in a Week 3 win over Las Vegas (9/27).
• Played a reserve role on the defensive line in a Week 4 loss at Kansas City (10/5). Combined for four tackles by way of three solo and one assist. Helped keep Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs out of the end zone in the first half for the third time in three years.
• Appeared as a reserve defensive lineman vs. Denver (10/18). Made 6 total tackles.
• Start for the first time this year in a Week 7 loss vs. San Francisco (10/25).
• Started at defensive end and made five total tackles in a Week 8 loss at Buffalo (11/1).

• Started at left end in a Week 11 loss at Houston (11/22). Had a hit on Texans QB Deshaun Watson on third down late in the fourth quarter. The pass sailed incomplete and Houston kicked a field goal on the next play to make it 27-20.
• Was a starter on the defensive line as part of a Week 12 win vs. Arizona (11/29). Notched 4 total tackles and was key in limiting Arizona to 298 net yards. They entered the game with the NFL's top-ranked offense, averaging 414.3 yards per game and it was their second - lowest output of the season to the 262 yards at Carolina on Oct. 4.
• Racked up two tackles and added a three-yard sack on Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in the first quarter of a Week 13 win in Los Angeles.

PERSONAL

• Recorded 113 tackles, including 12 for loss with 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, two quarterback hurries and one blocked field goal in 2011 while helping Hebron (Texas) High School to the state playoffs. Following his senior campaign, he was named District 8-5A Defensive Player of the Year.
• In his junior season, he totaled 40 tackles, including seven sacks.
• Chose Arkansas after also receiving offers from Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Arizona, Purdue and Wake Forest.
• Son of Deatrich Sr. and Sheila Wise.
