CAREER TRANSACTIONS

Vederian Lowe was acquired by the New England Patriots in a trade with Minnesota in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round draft pick on August 28, 2023 ... Originally drafted by Minnesota in the sixth round (184th overall) of the 2022 draft.

SEASONAL REVIEWS

2024 (14/13)

  • Played in 14 games with 13 starts at left tackle. Caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from QB Drake Maye vs. the L.A. Rams (11/17) as an eligible receiver.
  • Missed three games due to injury: at the New York Jets (9/19), at San Francisco (9/29) and at Jacksonville (10/20).
  • Did not start at Cincinnati (9/8), but replaced T Chukwuma Okorafor at left tackle on the second series and played the rest of the way, anchoring a unit that did not allow a sack, paved the way for RB Rhamondre Stevenson to rush for 120 yards on the ground and the team to 170 yards rushing in a 16-10 win.
  • As the starting left tackle vs. Seattle (9/15), paved the way for 185 total rushing yards between RBs Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson, the first time the Patriots rushed for at least 170 yards in back-to-back games since 2020, and the first time the Patriots have opened the season with at least 170 yards rushing in their first two games since 1974. Left the game during overtime due to injury, and was replaced by Caedan Wallace at left tackle.
  • Returned to the starting lineup at left tackle vs. Miami (10/6) after missing two games due to injury. Helped pave the way for a new team record 7.9-yard rushing average off 19 carries for 151 yards. The previous team record was a 7.8-yard average when the team rushed 25 times for 196 yards vs. Miami on Dec. 23, 2007.
  • Returned to the starting lineup at left tackle in the win vs. the New York Jets (10/27) after missing the game at Jacksonville (10/20) due to injury.
  • Reported as an eligible receiver and caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from QB Drake Maye in the fourth quarter vs. the L.A. Rams (11/17). Became the fourth Patriots offensive lineman to catch a touchdown pass and the first since T Nate Solder caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from QB Tom Brady in the third quarter of the 2014 AFC Championship game vs. Indianapolis on Jan. 18, 2015. Became the 10th Patriots player to score a touchdown on his first-career reception and the first since CB Marcus Jones accomplished the feat vs. Buffalo on Dec. 1, 2022, on a 48-yard touchdown reception from QB Mac Jones. It was the 10th time a Patriots offensive lineman caught a pass in a game.
  • Helped pave the way for the team's season high of 422 yards on offense and 200 yards rushing vs. Indianapolis (12/1), the Patriots' most total yards on offense since 409 total yards at Minnesota on Nov. 24, 2022, and the highest rushing total since Dec. 18, 2022, at Las Vegas.

2023 (11/8)

  • Was acquired in a trade with Minnesota on Aug. 28.
  • Played in 11 games with eight starts. He made four starts at left tackle and four starts at right tackle. He also rotated in at left and right tackle for three games.
  • Was inactive at Miami (10/29), at N.Y. Giants (11/26), vs. L.A. Chargers (12/3) and at Pittsburgh (12/7).
  • Dressed but did not see action vs. Philadelphia (9/10) and vs. Washington (11/5).
  • Started at left tackle in his first career start in place of an injured Trent Brown vs. Miami (9/17).
  • Took over as the starting right tackle at the N.Y. Jets (9/27) for a four-game stretch.
  • Came into the game at left tackle for an injured Trent Brown in the fourth quarter vs. Buffalo (10/22), but later left due to injury and Brown returned.
  • Saw action vs. Indianapolis (11/12) at left tackle for one drive in the fourth quarter after Conor McDermott left with an injury.
  • Came in for an injured Conor McDermott vs. Kansas City (12/17) at left tackle and contributed to the Patriots special teams units.
  • Started at left tackle at Denver (12/24) and played in a rotation with OL Trent Brown.
