The New England Patriots improved to a 5-2 record after completing a three-game road trip with their fourth straight win with the 31-13 victory over the Titans. The Patriots won the first two road games with a 23-20 win at Buffalo and a 25-19 win at New Orleans, and the victory over Tennessee marked the Patriots' third time winning all three games when playing three straight on the road in a single season. In 1961, the Patriots won their final three games on the road, and then in 1985, the Patriots won three straight postseason games played on the road en route to their first Super Bowl appearance. The Patriots have had 24 previous instances of three or more consecutive games on the road in a single season, including the postseason. The Patriots join the Rams (2018), Steelers (2020), Commanders (2020), Cowboys (2021) and Vikings (2024) as teams that have won all three games of a three-game road trip in the last ten years.

The Patriots and Browns will meet for the 28th time overall, including one postseason meeting, when the clubs square off on Sunday.
The Patriots enter the contest with a five-game winning streak against the Browns. The teams last played during the 2022 season when New England traveled to Cleveland and left with a 38-15 victory. The Browns last played at Gillette Stadium on Nov. 4, 2021 when the Patriots won, 45-7.
The Patriots lead the series, 14-13 overall. Cleveland won the only postseason meeting when the Browns claimed a 20-13 victory over the Patriots on New Year's Day, 1995, in a Wild Card Playoff game at Cleveland's Municipal Stadium.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR...
- The Patriots have won four straight games following the 31-13 victory at Tennessee. A victory this week against Cleveland will give the Patriots their longest winning streak since a seven-game winning streak during the 2021 season.
- The Patriots rushed for a season-high 175 yards last week in the win at Tennessee. If the Patriots rush for 175 or more yards this week against Cleveland, it would be the team's first time to do so in back-to-back games since the 2020 season when they had 250 yards rushing vs. Las Vegas (9/27) followed by 185 yards at Kansas City (10/5).
- The Patriots scored on defense for the first time this season last week at Tennessee (10/19) when LB K'Lavon Chaisson returned a fumble 4 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. If the Patriots score on defense this week vs. Cleveland, it will be the first time the Patriots have scored on defense in back-to-back weeks since the 2022 season when CB Marcus Jones returned an interception 69 yards for a touchdown vs. Cincinnati (12/24), and then S Kyle Dugger returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown the next week vs. Miami (1/1).
- If the Patriots return a fumble for a touchdown this week vs. Cleveland, it will be the first time the team has returned a fumble for a touchdown in back-to-back weeks since 2015 when DL Akiem Hicks recovered a fumble in the end zone vs. Tennessee (12/20), and then LB Jamie Collins Sr. returned a fumble 14 yards for a touchdown the next week at the New York Jets (12/27).
- The Patriots defense held Tennessee to 39 yards rushing last week. If the Patriots hold Cleveland under 40 yards this week, it will be the first time New England has held its opponent under 40 yards rushing in back-to-back games since the 2015 season when they held Miami (10/29) to 15 yards and Washington (11/8) to 37 yards. The Patriots have held their opponents under 40 yards rushing in back-to-back games in 1961, 1963, 1998, 2005 (three straight games) and 2015.
- The Patriots are the only team in 2025 that has not surrendered 50 yards to a running back through the first seven games of the season. It is the first time in team history that has occurred. The longest streak since the merger is 10 games by Tampa Bay in 2020, and Tennessee had a streak of eight in 2021. Many teams have had a streak of at least seven games, with Baltimore last year being the most recent team to accomplish the feat.
- With CB Marcus Jones' 87-yard punt return for a touchdown vs. Carolina (9/28) and RB Antonio Gibson's 90-yard kickoff return touchdown at Miami (9/14), it marked the fourth season that the Patriots have returned at least one punt and one kickoff for a touchdown in the same season. The Patriots have also returned both a punt and kick for a touchdown in 1980, 2010 and 2012. Of those seasons, only the 2010 season had multiple returns for a touchdown. That year, the Patriots returned one punt for a touchdown and two kickoffs for a touchdown.
- The 2025 Patriots team is second in the NFL against the run, allowing 77.1 rushing yards per game. The Patriots record for fewest rushing yards allowed since the NFL merger is 88.6 rushing yards per game in 2016.
- The Patriots defense is allowing just 3.44 yards per rush through the first seven games of the season, the third-lowest mark in the NFL in 2025. The team record is 3.3 yards per game, set in 2023.
