Patriots Sign Two Players to the Practice Squad

The Patriots announced today that LS Tucker Addington and DT Marcus Harris have been signed to the practice squad.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that LS Tucker Addington and DT Marcus Harris have been signed to the practice squad.

Addington, 27, was signed by New England on Aug. 5, 2024 and released on Aug. 26, 2024. He played in three games with New England during the 2022 season after being signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad on Dec. 23, 2022, following a season-ending injury to LS Joe Cardona. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder, went to training camp last season with New England but was released on Aug. 15. He signed with Jacksonville on Aug. 20 but was released on Aug. 29. Addington was signed to the Washington practice squad on Dec. 19 and signed to the 53-man roster on Dec. 30, seeing action in three games. Addington played college football at Sam Houston State and was signed by Dallas to the practice squad on Oct. 5, 2022 after playing for the Houston Gamblers of the USFL in 2022.

Harris, 24, originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick (247th overall) of the Houston Texans out of Auburn in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2, 298-pounder, was released by Houston on Aug. 27, signed to the practice squad on Aug. 28 and released from the practice squad on Oct. 9. Harris played his first two seasons at Kansas (2019-20) before transferring to Auburn for three seasons (2021-23) and finished his college career with 125 total tackles, 11 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries.
