• Picked off QB Sam Ehlinger in the fourth quarter vs. Indianapolis ((11/6) and returned it 17 yards for his first career touchdown. Returned an interception for a touchdown and blocked a punt vs. Indianapolis (11/6) in the second quarter. He is the fifth player to have a pick-6 and a blocked kick in the same game since 2000 and first to have a blocked punt and a pick-6 in the same game since Patrick Chung in 2010 with the Patriots at Miami on Oct. 4, 2010.
• Picked off Lamar Jackson in the second quarter at the Baltimore 47 yard line and his 15-yard return helped set up a Patriots touchdown during the home opener vs. Baltimore (9/25). In the fourth quarter he forced a fumble that was recovered by DB Jabrill Peppers.
• Made a key block vs. N.Y. Jets (11/20) on DB Marcus Jones game-winning 84-yard punt return for a touchdown.

2021 (6/1)

• Saw time on defense and special teams in the season-opener vs. Miami (9/12).
• Intercepted Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa with just over eight minutes left in the fourth quarter of a one-point game.
• Recorded two special teams tackles as a reserve defensive back at N.Y. Jets (9/19).
• Contributed on defense and special teams in a limited role vs. New Orleans (9/26).
• Rotated in as a defensive back vs. Tampa Bay (10/3) and tallied a team-high nine tackles.

• Started at defensive back and made 5 tackles (4 solo, 1 ast) in a Week 4 loss at Kansas City (10/5).
• Started at safety in a Week 6 loss vs. Denver (10/18). Denver QB Drew Lock was 0 of 7 on throws to the end zone, with Jon Jones in coverage for four of those incompletions. Jones also picked off Lock late in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots one last possession to try and take the lead. Jones and JC Jackson intercepted Lock on back to back drives.

• Appeared in 15 regular-season games with nine starts and matched his career-high total of 50 tackles from 2018. Also forced two fumbles, defensed a career-high eight passes as part of a defense that finished No. 1 in the NFL in total defense (275.9 yards per game) and scoring (14.1 points allowed per game). Also made two special teams tackles.

• Appeared in all three postseason games with two starts and made 10 tackles, notched his first career playoff sack and defensed one pass.
• Started at defensive back in the nickel defense and finished with a team-leading and season-high eight tackles as part of a secondary that held QB Ryan Tannehill to 100 yards passing in the win vs. Miami (9/30).
• Made the start as the nickel cornerback and was a key contributor with five tackles and two passes defensed, while also adding a fourth quarter interception of QB Andrew Luck that was returned deep into Colts territory during the win vs. Indianapolis (10/4). Sony Michel scored on the ensuing offensive play to give the Patriots a three-score lead late in the game.
• Contributed as a reserve nickel cornerback and finished with two tackles, a pass defensed and an interception of QB Mitchell Trubisky in the fourth quarter of the victory at Chicago (10/21).
