• Son of Darryl and Zsa Zsa Minor. His father graduated and played football for Oregon State University and went on to play running back for the Washington Commanders in the 1980s. His mother graduated from Grayson College.
• Youngest of eight siblings.
• Brother, Darryl, was a linebacker on the Texas Tech football team in 2019 after transferring from Abilene Christian.
